About

I’m a Don’t Ship Broken Sh*t Engineer who has worked and been an intern at Mozilla, DreamWorks Animation, ReachLocal, Apple, and more. I have experience across software engineering, product management, and obviously testing and automation.

I started this website because I’ve seen multiple examples of what happens when companies stop giving a f*ck about quality. I don’t want you to become one of those examples. And consumers- including me and you- deserve better than broken software. That said, I’m going to highlight a lot of those examples. Get ready to read about some real nasty sh*t.

I’ve also seen some sh*t on Blind, Quora, and other places where engineers and developers love to talk saying that software testers, SDETs, QA, and more is less important and less competent (side note: we write the tests that test their sh*t so our sh*t is airtight). So I’m going to highlight all the badass SDETS, QA, automation engineers, and more out there. I’m going to share stories where QA saved the day. The stigma of being a tester is over. Let’s celebrate the influence and achievements of our SDET and QA folks today.
